Importing Contacts into the Platform:
  1. Open the CRM section of the platform.
  2. Click the “Contacts” tab on the left panel.
  3. Click the “Import Contacts” button at the top.
  4. Ensure your file is in CSV format and below the 50MB size limit.
  5. Open your file in Excel. Organize your data in column format with appropriate headers (First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, etc.).
  6. Save your file as a CSV (File -> Save As -> CSV).
  7. Return to the CRM and click “Upload A File.”
  8. Find and select your saved CSV file.
  9. Click “Next.” The system will attempt to match the CSV headers with existing CRM fields.
  10. Check and confirm that the headers match the corresponding data in the system.
  11. Click “Next” again. You can create a “Smart List” for this import if necessary.
  12. Choose an option for how the system should handle the data: “Add New And Update Existing Contact Records,” “Add New Contact Records Only,” or “Update Existing Contact Records Only.“
  13. You can choose to “Skip Existing Contacts Based On” either email or phone number.
  14. Add tags to your contacts for easier searching later, if necessary.
  15. You can choose to add these contacts to a workflow/campaign.
  16. Choose whether or not to validate emails. Notethis may include additional charges.
  17. Click “Submit.” The platform will begin processing the file.
  18. View the progress of your import by clicking “Click Here To View Progress.”
Exporting Contacts from the Platform:
  1. Go to “Contacts” in the CRM.
  2. Select the contacts you want to export. You can search for specific contacts or click the square icon to select all.
  3. Click the “Export Contacts” button.
  4. The system will tell you how many contacts you’re exporting. Confirm by clicking “Export Contacts” again.
  5. The system will generate a CSV file with your exported contacts. This file will automatically download to your system.
