GOBI – Deleting A Contact/Restoring Deleted Contacts

1. Navigate to the GOBI system.
2. On the left-hand navigation menu, select “Contacts” to see all of your contacts.
3. If you see the contact you wish to delete, select their checkbox. If you cannot find them, use the “quick search” feature to locate the contact record.
4. Ensure you select the checkbox directly before their name. Avoid the one at the top of the list, which would select multiple contacts.
5. Once selected, click the “delete icon” that says “Delete contacts”.
6. Read the warning that appears. It will inform you about the removal of all corresponding conversations, tasks, and any active campaigns associated with that contact.
7. Confirm the deletion if you are sure.

1. Navigate to the top of the GOBI interface.
2. Find and click on the “Restore” function.
3. This function will show you all the contact records that have been deleted.
4. To restore a record, select the checkbox before their name and click “Restore”.
5. Confirm your action to restore the record.

1. If you want to delete multiple contacts, select their checkboxes from the list.
2. Click on the “delete contacts” button.
3. Confirm the deletion.

1. Use filters if you have tags on your records or specific parameters, like location.
2. For example, if you want to delete everyone from California, filter by location, and then select the contacts you wish to delete.
3. Execute the deletion in bulk.

Remember to double-check your selection to avoid deleting important contacts.
