  3. GOBI – Connecting A Domain To Your Funnel Or Website

Once you have set up your website or funnel, you’ll likely want to use a custom domain to give it a personalized touch. This tutorial will guide you through the process of adding your own domain to your GOBI funnel or website.

Before proceeding, ensure that you have watched the video on pointing your domains to this platform, which explains how to direct your domain to our platform. Once you have completed that step, you can proceed with adding your custom domain to your funnel or website.

Firstly, if you haven’t already watched our video on pointing your domains to the GOBI platform, it’s recommended to do so. This video can be found in the business setting section of our platform and provides a step-by-step guide on how to direct your domains to our platform.

Once your domain is pointed correctly towards our platform, you can now add it to your funnel or website. Start by selecting your funnel. In this example, we’re using a dummy funnel for demonstration purposes. Click on ‘Settings’, then find the ‘Domain’ section. Here, if your domain has been pointed correctly, you should see it in a dropdown menu. Select it and save your settings.

After setting up your custom domain, note that the website URL changes. This means that your site is now connected to your custom domain and can be accessed online through this new URL.

However, you might want to edit your domain to ensure the correct page is displayed when visitors access your site. To do this, click on ‘Settings’ in the lower-left corner. Then click on ‘Domains’. Locate your domain from the list and click on the pencil icon. Ensure to select the default page you want to show up when your visitors access your site.

The process is similar when adding a custom domain to your website. Go to the ‘Site’ section and click on ‘Websites’. Select the website you wish to add the domain to, click on ‘Settings’, then ‘Select Domain’. Your pointed domains should be displayed here for you to choose from.

Upon completing these steps, your funnel or website should now display under your custom domain. If you need any further assistance, or have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help. Best of luck with setting up your custom domain!
